Bernhard Breitenstein

Bernhard Breitenstein (born February 15, 1880 in Heiligenstadt , † February 18, 1956 in Hildesheim ) was a German judge and politician ( center ).

Breitenstein attended from 1890 to 1899, the School Heiligenstadt and then studied in Freiburg, Kiel and Halle law . He passed the legal traineeship exam on July 9, 1902 in Naumburg. On July 15, 1902, he was promoted to Dr. jur. utr. PhD . On July 1, 1907, he passed the assessor examination.

On October 1, 1912, he became a district judge at the Worbis District Court , where he was promoted to the District Court Council. From December 1, 1924 until the 1940s, he was regional court director at the Hildesheim regional court .

As a representative of the center, he was a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Saxony from 1920 to 1924 . From May 1921 to February 1926 he was a deputy member of the Prussian State Council . From February 25, 1926 to February 27, 1930, he was a member of the Reichsrat as authorized representative of the Province of Hanover . From January 1930 to April 1933 he was a member of the Prussian State Council for the Province of Hanover.
