Çavuşlu is a small town in the Midyat district of the Turkish province of Mardin . Çavuşlu is located about 55 km northeast of the provincial capital Mardin and 17 km northwest of Midyat. According to the last census, Çavuşlu had 5,188 inhabitants (as of December 2009).
