Ève Gagnier

Ève Gagnier (born November 12, 1930 in Montreal ; † September 19, 1984 ) was a Canadian soprano and actress.

René Gagnier's daughter studied singing with Martial Singher , piano with Auguste Descarries and harp with Marcel Grandjany at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec . She has appeared in numerous operettas and musical comedies on stage, on radio and television. From 1954 to 1966 she took part in the television series L'Heure du concert by Société Radio-Canada , in which operas, operettas, ballets and symphonic works were presented.

As an actress, she took on leading roles in the television series Le Survenant (1954–1960) and Au chenal du moine (1957–1958). She also appeared at the Théâtre du Monument national and the Théâtre du Rideau Vert . In addition, she made a name for herself as a voice actress, u. a. in the youth series Les Voyages de Tortillard (1977-1980) and the television series Passe-Partout (1977-1987), she was also the voice of Charlie Brown in the cartoon series of the same name (1983-1984).

In 1989 a street in Montreal was named after her.
