The École des Roches is a French boarding school founded by Edmond Demolins in 1899, west of Verneuil-sur-Avre in Normandy .

The motto of the École des Roches was: “Bien armés pour la vie”, it pursues a reform pedagogical school concept , influenced by Adolphe Ferrière and Gustave Monod , and is in the tradition of the English country education centers Abbotsholme and Bedales . She is co-educational and teaches from maternity to lycée . The school also offers the possibility of Abibac and preparation for the elite Grandes écoles of France.

Today, the school is an exclusive institution, internationally designed and aimed at an elite among parents - it is proud to count among its alumni the children of the de Habsbourg , de Rothschild , Peugeot , Taittinger families or the El Glaoui princes from Morocco .
