Edouard Delalay

Édouard Delalay (born November 6, 1936 in Saint-Léonard , resident in Saint-Léonard ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ).

In 1964, Delalay was elected to the local council in his hometown of Saint-Léonard . After eight years in office, he was in 1972 mayor . From 1977 to 1989 he was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Valais , and was its President in 1987/88. On September 21, 1987, he was elected to the Council of States and had a seat there until December 5, 1999. In 1996/97 he was President of the Council of States .

The trained trustee is married and has two children. He lives in Saint-Léonard.
