Étienne Mendy (born June 14, 1969 in Saint-Quentin ) is a former French football player who has worked as a player's agent since the end of his playing career.

career

The Senegalese striker began his professional career at the then second division AS Beauvais and came to a total of 173 appearances in the French Ligue 1 after his move to AS Saint-Étienne ; he scored 44 goals.

After the end of his playing career, he worked, among other things, in the youth division of Olympique Marseille and for the Senegalese national football team. He also appeared several times as a consultant to football players. In June 2017 he negotiated together with his brother Patrick Mendy as a “confidante” of the football player Anthony Modeste about a change of the player from 1. FC Cologne to the Chinese first division Tianjin Quanjian .
