The Île Lagrange , also known as Lagrange Island , is a small and rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is located 600 m north-northeast of Cape Mousse .

Participants in a French Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1950 to 1951 mapped the island and named it after the Italian mathematician Joseph-Louis Lagrange (1736-1813) who was active in France .
