The Île Verte is a district of Grenoble , located in a loop of the Isère . With several high-rise buildings, it is one of the most densely populated areas in the city. It is mostly residential , but the headquarters of the police ( French Hôtel de Police ) is also located there.

The Residence Île Verte , popularly known as the Three Towers, are a landmark . The complex was built between 1963 and 1967 based on designs by Roger Anger and Pierre Puccinelli.
