The Île du Péage ( roughly translated from French as toll island ), also known as Péage Island , is a rocky island off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It is located 0.8 km southwest of Cape Découverte .
Participants in a French Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1949 to 1951 made a map and named the island. It is named after its geographical position, which makes it appear as a toll station for the access from Port Martin to the Curzon Islands .
