Óscar Pastor (* 1962) is a Spanish computer scientist .

Life

Pastor heads the Information Science Department at the Polytechnic University of Valencia . His focus is on object-oriented conceptual modeling, requirements engineering and the production of software based purely on models.

In 1996 he started his research work, which resulted in the development of the code generator OlivaNova based on MDA models. This resulted in the spin-off CARE Technologies, based in Dénia , Spain , which belongs to the CHG group of companies and which today markets its development via integranova with locations in Dénia , Valencia , Madrid , San Francisco , Munich , Düsseldorf and Hamburg .
