Esophageal diverticulum

- Killian-Jamieson diverticulum
- Cervical esophageal pouches
- Traction and pulsation diverticula of the middle esophagus
- Barsony's pseudodiverticulum
- true epiphrenic diverticula
Demarcation
The Zenker's diverticulum , which is located in the pharynx, does not belong to the esophageal diverticula .
The Intramural Pseudodivertikulose of the esophagus is a problem associated with inflammation happening in the esophageal wall, which in the Breischluckuntersuchung creates the image of many small protuberances that match but not real diverticula. Rather, it is a question of expanded ducts of the mucous glands in the esophageal wall that fill with contrast medium.
