Austrian National Football Amateur Championship

The Austrian Amateur State Championship was a football competition in Austria that was held from 1929 to 1937 . It primarily enabled Austrian amateur teams from the federal states to take part in an Austria-wide championship, which was previously reserved for professionals from the federal capital Vienna.

All national champions of the federal states as well as the best amateur teams in Vienna and Burgenland were eligible to participate in the Austrian State Amateur Championship. The Viennese representative was mostly the third class champion Vienna, while the Burgenland clubs played in the championships of Lower Austria and Styria. The championship was played in the knockout system, the division of the first round took place according to regional criteria into a western and eastern district.
