Austrian handball championship (women) 2010/11

The 40th season of the Austrian women's handball championship began on September 10, 2010 and ended with the second final game for the Austrian championship on May 8, 2011. The reigning champion was Hypo Niederösterreich .

In the top division, the WHA, 12 teams were represented. The championship was divided into two phases. In the main round, all teams played a simple round trip against each opponent. Then the first two teams played a final for the title.

Before the start of the season, the ÖHB decided that Hypo Niederösterreich should no longer compete as the reigning champion in the finals as in the two previous seasons, but also play the basic round. For this reason, Hypo Niederösterreich dropped out of the WHRL competition.

Hypo Niederösterreich was handball champions for the 35th time in a row. Hypo Niederösterreich won the Cup against Hypo Niederösterreich 2 with a 36:22 victory, the game for third place was decided by Bundesliga club Union Korneuburg against Tecton WAT Atzgersdorf with 31:27.
