Öztürk Karataş (born February 15, 1991 in Kağızman ) is a football player who currently works as a player-coach at SG Nellingen.

Career

Karataş played from the F-Youth to the D-Youth at SSV Ulm 1846 . In 2009 he moved from Karlsruher SC to U-19 at VfB Stuttgart for a transfer fee of 100,000 euros .

Karataş was 8 May 2010 on the 38th day of the 2009/10 season for VfB II in the 3rd professional league against FC Carl Zeiss Jena his professional debut when he was in the 46 minutes for the injured Daniel Four came on . On September 21, 2010 he scored his first competitive goal for the second team in Stuttgart against SpVgg Unterhaching .

On April 25, 2012, Öztürk Karataş extended his contract with VfB Stuttgart until June 2013. At the end of the following season, this contract was not renewed. In October 2013 Karataş joined TSV Grunbach .

Since June 2017 he has been in office as a player coach at SG Nellingen.

National team

Karataş has already worked for several Turkish national youth teams. He competed for Turkey at the U-17 European Championship in 2008 in his own country.
