Øster Lisbjerg Herred
Øster Lisbjerg Herred , written with æ in the 19th century ( Øster-Lisbjærg Herred ), was a harde on the east coast of Central Jutland that existed from the High Middle Ages until 1970 . Until the end of the 19th century it belonged to the Åbo syssel , which included the Djursland peninsula and the adjacent inland to the Gudenå , then to Randers office , from 1970 to 2007 to Århus office .
Øster Lisbjerg Herred was located at the northern end of the Århus Bugt called Kalvø Vig and comprised the following Sogne (municipalities):

- Egå Sogn
- Hjortshøj Sogn
- Hornslet Sogn
- Mejlby Sogn
- Mørke Sogn
- Skarresø Sogn
- Skødstrup Sogn
- Thorsager Sogn
- Todbjerg Sogn
Today the south of this Herred belongs to the municipality of Aarhus , the north to the municipality of Syddjurs .
