Þórunn Sveinbjarnardóttir

Þórunn Sveinbjarnardóttir (born November 22, 1965 in Reykjavík ) is an Icelandic politician ( Alliance ). From 1999 to 2013 she was a member of the Icelandic parliament Althing . From 2007 to 2009 she was Environment Minister. Her successor in this office was Kolbrún Halldórsdóttir .

Before that she studied at the University of Iceland and at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Bologna Center in Bologna .

She has a daughter (* 1982).
