The Český footballistický kroužek Kickers , or ČFK Kickers for short , was a Czech football club from Prague . It was in 1893 when Český footballistický kroužek Akademického gymnasia founded and was one of the first Czech football clubs. The team consisted of students from the Academic Gymnasium in Prague .
The ČFK Kickers won the first unofficial Czech football championship (Czech Národní zápasy mužstev kopaný míč cvičících ) in the spring of 1896 and played the first officially organized football game in Bohemia . On March 22, 1896, the Kickers met on the Prager Königswiese (today: Kaiserwiese) on the AC Prague , whose players, however, with the score of 1-0 for the ČFK Kickers left the pitch in protest against the referee's performance and never came back. After AC Sparta also left the championship after a 0-0 win against SK Slavia , the game of the remaining teams ČFK Kickers against SK Slavia could be viewed as a final - the Kickers won 2-1.
In 1897 the students were banned from playing football and most of the players joined the Český Sculling Cercle team .
