Đoàn Kiến Quốc
Đoàn Kiến Quốc (born March 24, 1979 in Nha Trang ) is a Vietnamese table tennis player . He won a gold medal in men's doubles at the Southeast Asian Games in 2009 . He is considered the best Vietnamese table tennis player ever and in 2012 was temporarily at number 275 in the ITTF world rankings . The Vietnamese are left-handed and use the European shakehand style.
He made his official debut at the 2004 Olympic Games , but was eliminated 4-1 in the first round against Yang Min . He was also able to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games , where he beat David Zalcberg and Christophe Legoût , but later failed on Russian Alexei Smirnov .
