Đorđe "Đokica" Vujadinović (born December 6, 1909 in Smederevo , † October 5, 1990 in Belgrade ) was a Yugoslav football player .

career

Đorđe Vujadinović, was active at club level from 1928 to 1940 for the OFK Belgrade , for which he had already played in his youth in 1923 until his debut with the seniors. With the former BSK Beograd he won the championship title in 1931, 1933, 1935, 1936 and 1939. Gradjanski Zagreb was the strongest competitor. The championship was held in a league system from 1927. However, only the champions of the regional classes played for the title, but now everyone against everyone. From the 1932/33 season it came to the formation of the first division. The offensive player made his debut in the national team on October 6, 1929 in the 2-1 defeat in Bucharest against Romania. He was a member of the Yugoslav national soccer team and took part in the first soccer world championship in 1930 . There the striker was used in the group matches against Brazil and Bolivia, as well as in the semifinals against Uruguay. His last appearance in the national team dates from the game on November 3, 1940 in Zagreb against Germany. In the 2-0 victory against Reich coach Sepp Herberger's team , his club mates Franjo Glaser, Ernest Dubac, Gustav Lehner, Svetislav Valjarevic and Vojin Bozovic were also involved. In total, he completed 44 international matches for Yugoslavia from 1929 to 1940, scoring 18 goals. Including two World Cup qualifiers for the 1934 World Cup and one for the 1938 World Cup.
