Đurđevi Stupovi (Berane)
Đurđevi Stupovi ( Serbian - Cyrillic Ђурђеви Ступови ) is a Serbian Orthodox monastery located near the town of Berane , Montenegro . There is a risk of confusion with the monastery of the same name, but located in Serbia , Đurđevi Stupovi near Novi Pazar . The monastery is the center of Serbian Orthodoxy in Montenegro. It was founded in 1213 by Stefan Prvoslav, son of Tihomir and nephew of Stefan Nemanja .
