biography

He began taking piano lessons at the age of five. He graduated from the "Zenon Brzewski" music secondary school with Joanna Ławrynowicz.

He completed his studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw with Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and Konrad Skolarski.

He performs in many Polish cities, as well as in Germany, Belgium, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, Russia, Lithuania, Belarus, China, Australia and the United States.

As a participant in the 17th International Chopin Competition , he reached the semifinals.

In January 2017 the DUX record publisher released a debut CD by Łukasz Krupiński Espression with works by Josef Haydn , Frédéric Chopin and Alexander Scriabin . The CD was nominated for the International Classical Music Awards.

Piano competitions (selection)

  • Grand Prix and two special prizes at the 2nd Siberian International Chopin Piano Competition in Tomsk ( Russia ) (2013)
  • Prize of the Minister of Culture and National Legacy for excellence in the field of artistic creation (2013 and 2014).
  • 1st prize in the piano competition (2014) and scholarship from the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe.
  • 2nd prize at the 47th Polish Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2015), which entitles the holder to participate in the 2015 International Chopin Competition .
  • 1st prize at the 15th International Piano Competition of the Chopin Society in Hanover.
  • 1st prize at the international piano competition ClaviCologne, Aachen (2016)
  • In 2016 he was awarded the Fryderyk Chopin University Commemorative Medal for Music in recognition of artistic achievement.
  • 1st prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino, September 18, 2016. In addition to the main prize, he received all additional prizes: the critics, the audience and the orchestra of San Marino. The second prize went to Dmytro Choni from the Ukraine, the third Shen Men-Sheng from Taiwan.
  • 3rd prize at the Kissinger Piano Olympics 2018
