The Šasko jezero ( Albanian Liqeni i Shasit ) is a lake in southern Montenegro . It is located in the municipality of Ulcinj near the Albanian border, wedged between two ranges of hills that extend from the southeast to the northwest. The lake has an area of 3.64 square kilometers and is a maximum of 7.8 meters deep. It is drained via a one kilometer long canal to the Buna .
