Seteniai ( Polish: Szetejnie ) is a small Lithuanian village in the Kėdainiai municipality , Kaunas district .
It has about 30 inhabitants and is located roughly in the middle of Lithuania on the left of the Nevėžis River , 13 km north of Kedainiai and around 70 km north of Kaunas.
The place is known as the birthplace of the Polish writer and Nobel Prize winner for literature, Czesław Miłosz . Since 1999 there has been a cultural center in honor of the author.
