Žilvinas Lilas
Žilvinas Lilas (* in Lithuania ) is a Lithuanian artist, professor for experimental 3D art at the Art Academy for Media Cologne .
Life
In 1991 he graduated as an artist from the Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts (Lithuania). In 1997 he completed his Master of Fine Arts in Computer Arts at Ohio State University (USA).
He designed creative and technical equipment for Walt Disney Studios , Oddworld Inhabitants , Metrolight Studios, Artist 's Inc., Eisenhower National Clearinghouse for Mathematics and Science Education, Wexner Center for the Arts.
Films, games, publications: Treasure Planet, Chicken Little, Munch's Odyssey, Siegfried and Roy and others.
He has been a professor at the KHM since 2004. He has given lectures and workshops at festivals and at academic institutions in Germany, USA, Lithuania and Sweden .
His research interests are interactive art and design, simulated environments and scenarios, identity and technology.
