Žinėnai is a village of 33 inhabitants (2011) in Lithuania , in Kaunas district , in the jonava district municipality , in the District Kulva , 25 km from Kaunas , 14 km from Jonava , 7 km from Lapės ( Kaunas District Municipality ), 12 km from Kulva , on the KK 1509 highway ( Batėgala –Žinėnai). Not far from the village rises the Barupė , the left tributary of the Nevėžis '. There is a mobile post office in the village ( Jonavos 1-asis kilnojamasis paštas ), LT-55340. In Soviet Lithuania the village belonged to the Kulva district ( Kulvos apylinkė ). 104 inhabitants used to live here (as of 1970).
