The 1. BC Landsberg (officially: 1. Billard-Club Landsberg eV ) is a billiard club from Landsberg am Lech founded in 1993 . The club's first snooker team played in the 1st Bundesliga from 1998 to 2000 and from 2008 to 2010 .

history

The 1st BC Landsberg was founded in 1993. In the 1998/99 season he took part in the first season of the 1st Snooker Bundesliga and finished fourth. In the following season , however, the snooker team rose in twelfth place in the Bayern League and again a year later in the district league. There they achieved promotion to the Bayern League in 2005 with first place. In the 2005/06 season there was a run- through to the 2nd Bundesliga, one point behind SSC Fürth . Two years later , BC Landsberg became champions of the second division with only one defeat and thus managed to return to the first division after eight years. After taking third place there in 2009 and second place in 2010 , twelve points behind the Barmer Billardfreunde , the club canceled its Bundesliga team and played in the Bavarian League from then on, in which it reached third place in 2012 and 2014. After the 2014/15 season, in which the club finished fourth, BC Landsberg announced its snooker team from the game.

The pool team of 1. BC Landsberg rose in 2004 as champions of the district league A in the district league. After being relegated back to the district league in the meantime, in 2011 they made it to the district league again as runner-up. In the 2015/16 season, the club reached first place there and thus rose to the state league.
