The 1st DSC Hannover (officially: 1st German Snooker Club Hannover eV ) is a snooker club from Hannover . The first team of the club, which was founded in 1985, has played in the 1st Bundesliga since 2014 and became German champions in 2015.
history
The 1st DSC Hanover was founded on January 4th 1985 as the first snooker club in Germany . In 1999 the first team rose to the 1st Bundesliga for the first time . In tenth, however, she immediately dismounted. 2002 followed the renewed promotion to the first division. In 2004 the team finished third there, but in the following year they only narrowly escaped relegation in sixth. In 2006 the 1st DSC Hannover was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga in sixth place. As champions of the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007/08, the club managed to return to the 1st Bundesliga. However, as an eighth one dismounted directly. This was followed by direct promotion and in 2011 third place in the 1st Bundesliga. In 2012, the club rose again from the first division. Two years later they came first in the second division and rose again to the first division. In the 2014/15 season the 1st DSC Hanover became German champion. A year later they took fourth place.
The second team of DSC Hannover played in the 2nd Bundesliga in the 1999/2000 season .
