The 1. Münchner SC (officially: 1. Münchner Snooker Club eV ) is a snooker club from Munich .

history

The 1st Münchner SC was founded in December 2000. In 2001 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga . Two years later, he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga . In the top German league they came in the 2003/04 season , two points behind the sixth-placed BSV Berlin , on the seventh place and was relegated. After having missed direct promotion in the 2004/05 season as third-placed, succeeded in the 2005/06 season with only two season defeats as the first-placed to return to the first division. The Munich team stayed there for six years, finishing third in 2010 and runner-up in 2012 . After the 2011/12 season, however, the first team was deregistered from the 1st Bundesliga and took over the second team's starting position in the second division. In the following three seasons you just missed promotion as runner-up.

From the 2003/04 season the second team of the 1st Munich SC played in the fourth-class district league. In the following years she rose first to the league and in 2011 to the 2nd Bundesliga. There she succeeded in the 2011/12 season with fifth place, although the relegation, since the first team was canceled from the first division, the second team played in the league from then on. In 2013 he was relegated to the Association League and in 2015 he was relegated to the District League. There the team finished last in the 2015/16 season. However, since the third team reached first place, the second team will play in the association league again from 2016.
