120 Days is a Norwegian rock band from Oslo .
Band history
The band was founded in 2001 as a pop band under the name "The Beautiful People". At that time the founders Ådne Meisfjord, Kjetil Ovesen, Jonas Hestvik Dahl and Arne Kvalvik were still living in Kristiansund . With the move to Oslo the following year, the group renamed itself to 120 Days (based on the Marquis de Sade's novel The 120 Days of Sodom ).
The Public Demand label released the EPs Sedated Times and The Beautiful People before Smalltown Supersound signed the band. In 2005, 120 Days played at Sonar Festival in Spain and Carling Weekend in the UK . On October 10, 2006, the self-titled debut album was released on Smalltown Supersound and Vice Records in the United States . Following the release, 120 Days played a tour in the United States.
