2nd landing teaching division (Wehrmacht)
The 2nd Landungs-Lehr-Division was a major military unit of the German Navy during World War II .
Division history
The division was set up in Swinoujscie ( Pomerania ) in the spring of 1942, initially as the Baltic Sea Marine Fährprahm Exercise Association from parts of the Baltic Sea Trial Association.
Shortly thereafter, the association was renamed the 2nd Landing Teaching Division . In February 1943 the division was disbanded and the ship units were distributed to other units.
