2MASS J09490860-1545485 is a brown dwarf in the constellation Water Snake . It was developed in 2005 by Christopher G. Tinney et al. discovered. It belongs to the spectral class T2; its surface temperature is 800 to 1300 Kelvin . As with other brown dwarfs of the spectral class T, methane also dominates in its spectrum . Its position shifts by 0.1 arc seconds annually due to its own movement .
