The 369th (Croatian) Infantry Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up in September 1942 at the Döllersheim military training area from Croatian volunteers and German support personnel ( officers , NCOs ). The division fought in the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia . The remnants of the unit came into British captivity in the Klagenfurt area in Carinthia in May 1945 .
