40213 is an EP by rapper Olson , which was released as a free download on December 12, 2011 via Hiphop.de. He had only recently given up his old pseudonym Olson Rough , which is why it is his first publication as Olson .

The title of the album, which also contains five songs, consists of the five digits 40213 and pays homage to the Düsseldorf postal code . It includes the districts of Carlstadt and the old town . In the immediate vicinity of the city is Olson's birthplace, Neuss .

Meaning and content
After individual song releases in the same year, the rapper was punished within the scene as one of the most popular and most promising newcomers. With the help of the EP, which was initially planned as an album, he tried to convey to his fans in which direction, especially musically, he would go in the following year, so it was more a product of the "sound-finding phase".
