46 Leonis Minoris ( 46 LMi for short ) is a star of the spectral class K0 III about 100 light-years away. With an apparent visual magnitude of 3.8, it is the brightest star in the constellation Little Leo . 46 Leonis Minoris may be a member of the proposed Wolf 630 movement cluster . He bears the historical proper name Praecipua ; in Chinese astronomy he was known as Shisi ( 勢 四  /  势 四 , shìsì ).
