5th Royal Bavarian Landwehr Infantry Brigade
The 5th Landwehr Infantry Brigade was a large unit of the Bavarian Army .
history
The brigade was set up on August 2, 1914 with the outbreak of the First World War as the 5th mixed Landwehr brigade and used in the area of the 6th Army at Zweibrücken to secure the railway connections. In January 1916 she was subordinated to the 1st Landwehr Division and used on the Western Front.
