5BUGS was a band from Berlin , Germany, founded in 2001 . Their music style can be classified in the field of alternative rock , whereby other influences are also perceptible.
history
In 2004 they released their first album To No One Else Except You on Record of the Year , and in 2006 the second entitled Tomorrow I'll Play God on the rock label Rockhit Records / Universal . Both albums were recorded and produced by guitarist Florian Nowak.
By the end of 2007 the band had given over 300 concerts in Germany and Austria . After further tours in Germany, she released her third album on January 23, 2009, entitled Best Off . On January 9, 2009, the first single Wake Me After Midnight was released . The tour to the Best Off album took the band to over 65 concerts across Germany and Austria and became the most successful tour of the five Berliners to date. In October 2009 she played her final tour concert in order to work on a new album after a longer concert break. In 2010 the band released the EP in 2010 . It was available for free download on the homepage. In December 2010 5Bugs announced on their homepage that the drummer Samy El-Munayer is leaving the band, but will still be active in the background.
The album Vora City was released in September 2011. On May 13, 2012, the band announced that they would split up after a farewell tour in autumn 2012. After the last concert on November 24th, 2012 in the Berlin C-Club the termination took place.
Afterwards founded Stefan Fehling and Daniel Kokavecz together with Tomas Golabski the band Tüsn whose debut album guilt was published in February 2016 and peaked at 74th
