The 6 mm BR Remington (also 6 mm BR Rem.) Is a cartridge for benchrest shooting (BR).
history
It was developed by Remington in 1981 as an alternative to the 6 mm PPC . The case of this cartridge is shorter and thicker than the case of the 6 mm PPC. The trend towards similar case shapes can also be seen with the .300 WSM cartridge .
The 6 mm BR Rem. Must not be confused with the 6mm BR Norma or 6mm BR Farè cartridges , because these have different dimensions.
