The group 702 ( Seven-Oh-Two ) is an American R & B - and hip-hop - Trio , located after the area code of their hometown Las Vegas has named. It consists of the three African-Americans Kameelah Williams, Irish Grinstead and LeMisha Grinstead. With over 5 million albums and singles sold, they already have a platinum rating.

Discovered in 702 by Michael Bivins, who made her debut on the hit single This Lil 'Game We Play released . Missy Elliott also took part on the 1997 album No Doubt , who wrote and co-produced four of them. The hit Steelo was used as the theme song for the TV show Cousin Skeeter . The single Where My Girls At , which is also included on the album 702 , reached number 4 in the US charts in 1999. They received the “Lady of Soul” award for No Doubt for best R&B, soul or rap album of the year by a group band.
