Magoo

Magoo (born July 12, 1973 in Norfolk , Virginia ; actually Melvin Barcliff ) is an American rapper . He is one part of the pop-rap duo Timbaland & Magoo with music producer Timbaland .

Career

Like Timbaland, DeVante Swings' label Swing Mob , which gives newcomers a chance, signed Magoo in 1995. Together with Timbaland he then founded Timbaland & Magoo with Blackground Records . A number of unsuccessful albums followed, but successful singles. The debut album Welcome to Our World sold over a million copies worldwide.

Magoo has an unusually high-pitched, high-pitched, but natural, voice that is similar to that of Q-Tip from A Tribe Called Quest .
