Aílton de Oliveira Modesto (born February 27, 1980 ), better known as Aílton , is a Brazilian football player. The 1.78 meter tall right foot is a striker.

Career

1999 Aílton moved from the Brazilian FC Santos to the Portuguese Portimonense SC . There he played until the 2002/03 season, at the beginning of which he moved to the Brazilian club CA Juventus . After two years he returned to Portimonense. Here he played another year before he joined the Greek club Panachaiki for the new 2005/06 season. Here he only played for half a year; During the winter break he moved to the second division Apollon Kalamarias . There, too, he only played in three league games for six months and moved to league rivals PAS Ioannina at the beginning of the 2006/07 season . After the season ended, his contract was not renewed in 2007. He then moved back to his native Brazil to the Londrina EC . There he played only one season before he moved to Clube Recreativo e Atlético Catalano . In 2009 he signed with Operário FC . After two years, he moved to Associação Esportiva Tiradentes in 2011 . Aílton only stayed here for two years. He has been playing for CA Votuporanguense since 2013 .
