The Aýrybaba (Uzbek Ayribobo togʻ ) is the highest mountain in Turkmenistan with a height of 3139 m .
It is located in Köýtendag , a southwestern continuation of the Baisuntau on the eastern border with Uzbekistan .
Since 2004 it has been officially called Beýik Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy belentligi (Mountain of the Great Saparmyrat Türkmenbaşy ).
In 1986, a protected area was created in which 122 species of birds were registered, plus 988 species of plants.
