Albert Venn Dicey
Albert Venn Dicey (born February 4, 1835 in Lutterworth , Leicestershire , † April 7, 1922 in Oxford ) was an English lawyer and professor in Oxford.
Life
Dicey is considered to be the founder of modern UK constitutional teaching and the author of the influential textbook Introduction to the Study of the Law of the Constitution . In 1901 he was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and in 1902 to the British Academy . In 1916 he was accepted as a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
