AAR bus + bahn was an umbrella brand of two public transport companies in the Aarau region in Switzerland . It was launched in 2002 and stood for the Wynental and Suhrentalbahn (WSB) and the Aarau bus company (BBA). The two jointly managed companies had around 200 employees and were mainly owned by the municipalities served, the canton of Aargau and the Swiss Confederation. Since the merger of WSB with BDWM Transport (BDWM) to form Aargau Verkehr in 2018, the BBA has been operating independently again as BBA Bus Aarau .
The tariff structure of AAR bus + bahn was integrated into the tariff association A-Welle .
