ADOdb Lite is a slim, fast and largely ADOdb -compatible database abstraction layer for the PHP scripting language . Compared to the original, ADOdb Lite requires only 1/6 of the system RAM for each HTTP access (ADOdb Lite <100 kB, ADOdb 640 kB) and is up to 300 percent faster according to the results of a benchmark with the Microsoft Web Application Stress Tool .
