AEON - forum for young historians is an Open Access presents -Fachjournal, the interdisciplinary contributions to Medieval and Modern History.

The journal was founded in 2009 by students and doctoral candidates from Dresden and Leipzig and is part of the Wissens-Werk.de Internet portal. In terms of publishing, AEON is taken care of by Meine Verlag and, as an OpenAccess journal with initial publications, is part of the “Golden Way” . The Open Journal System is used as the editorial system . This means that the journal can be searched not only in the electronic journal library , but also in the Directory of Open Access Journals . After receipt and successful assessment in the peer review process, the contributions appear as individual documents at irregular intervals. A new year begins on October 15th.
