The AH Maude's Stores are a historic building at 4 Harbor Street in the Victorian city center of the New Zealand city of Oamaru in the Otago region .

It was built in 1875 according to designs by the architects Forrester & Lemon in the historic city center of Oamarus as a warehouse in the vicinity of the then important seaport. In contrast to many of the buildings in the center built entirely in Victorian style from Oamaru Stone , a contrasting combination of soft, white limestone and hard, dark basalt is used here. Just one year later, the building was expanded to include auction and office space.

It was later used to make Lane's Emulsion , a tonic for children. Today it is operated by a Dutchman as a bakery, in which handcrafted baked goods are made. These are a rarity in the New Zealand market, which is dominated by industrially manufactured baked goods.

On July 2, 1987, the building was classified as a Category 2 Monument (Historic Place Category II) by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust under number 4691 .

The structure is part of the Harbor / Tyne Street Historic Area ensemble, which is also under protection . The neighboring houses, the Oamaru Harbor Board Office and Meek's Grain Store , are also historic buildings.
