The Oamaru Harbor Board Office Building is a historic building in the Victorian city ​​center of the New Zealand city of Oamaru in the Otago region .

It was built in 1876 according to designs by the architects Forrester & Lemon at 2 Harbor Street in the Victorian style typical of the historic city center of Oamaru as an office building for the port administration of the then important seaport of Oamaru.

On July 2, 1987, the building was classified as a Category 1 Monument (Historic Place Category I) by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust under number 4381 . It is part of the Harbor / Tyne Street Historic Area ensemble, which is also under protection .

Today the building is home to the Oamaru Whitestone Civic Trust , an organization dedicated to the preservation and economic development of Oamaru's Victorian heritage and structures from that time.

The neighboring building, AH Maude's Stores, is also a monument.
