AMC - Andrzej M. Chołdzyński (formerly AMC i Partnerzy ) is a Polish architecture firm based in Warsaw . The company became known for the design of the Warsaw Stock Exchange building and the Warsaw metro station A 18 on Plac Wilsona .
history
The office was founded in 1998. The founder is the architect Andrzej M. Chołdzyński (born November 2, 1960 in Lublin ). He studied at the Sorbonne University (1982–1983), the Ecole d'Architecture Paris la Seine (1983–1985), the Technical University in Cracow and the Ecole d'Architecture de Paris Villemin (1989–1993). Chołdzyński has been working in Paris since 1982 and in Warsaw since 1996. He was nominated for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture in 2001.
Realized projects
The studio designs utility and transport buildings as well as office and residential complexes. In addition to the stock exchange building, drafts for the "Lipowy Office Park" office complex, the renovation of the Centralny Dom Towarowy , the interior design of the Rondo 1-B high-rise and other metro stations (C9 - Rondo Daszynskiego, C 10 - Rondo ONZ, C 14 - Narodowy Stadium, A22 - Wawrzyszew and A23 - Młociny). The Centrum Innowacji i Zaawansowanych Technologii of the Technical University of Lublin was established in Lublin .
An office tower based on the studio's plans is currently under construction: The Warsaw Hub by Ghelamco .
