Rondo 1-B is the name of a skyscraper in the city center of the Polish capital Warsaw on Rondo ONZ 1. The 40-story skyscraper is 194 meters high (164 m without antenna) after the Warsaw Palace of Culture , the Warsaw Trade Tower and the Sky Tower (Wroclaw) the fourth tallest skyscraper in Poland . The high-rise with its area of 70,000 m² was planned by the architecture group Skidmore, Owings and Merrill . Construction work began in 2003 and the building was opened on March 7, 2006 . The associated ten-story annex, in which trade and service exhibitions are held, was completed in 2005. The building serves, among other things, as the headquarters of the European Agency for Operational Cooperation at the External Borders, Frontex .
