A Mountain of One is a British band whose style can be classified between psychedelic rock and prog rock .
Band history
A Mountain of One was founded in 2006 by London-based musicians and producers Zeben Jameson and Mo Morris. Multi-instrumentalist Jameson has previously worked as a touring musician with Oasis , Tricky and The Pretenders , while Morris has been a producer and DJ.
In 2008 they combined the songs of the three previously released EPs Ride , Silver and Gold on the album Collected Works .
In 2009 Jameson and Morris released the self-produced album Institute of Joy . It was mixed by Guy Massey ( Spiritualized / Manic Street Preachers ) and Danton Supple ( Coldplay / Morrissey ).
In November 2019, the group announced on their facebook page that A Mountain of One will regroup in early 2020 to produce a new EP.
